Job summary

Brightpoint invites you to join our team as an Early Start Home Visitor serving Winnebago County, Rockford, IL. You will meet with expectant parents and families with young children, conduct assessments, and provide education and support to expand networks and access services.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Social Work or Child Development, with a Bachelor's preferred, and at least one year working with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working with families with young children preferred.
• Must be certified in the appropriate program model or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with families in their homes to complete assessments and develop goals.
• Provide observations of parent-child interactions and coach effective communication.
• Assist families in connecting with early intervention, mental health, health care and other services.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community providers.
