Job summary

Benesch is seeking an e-Billing Specialist in Chicago. Hybrid role with work-from-home flexibility. You will manage the flow of computerized billing from start to finish, including narrative edits, unbilled write-offs, prebills, and reports for timekeepers.

The role requires 3+ years of billing experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with e-billing systems. Aderant/BillBlast experience is a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of client billing experience.
• Typing speed 60 WPM and 10-key by touch.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of E-invoicing systems.
• Aderant/BillBlast experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand start-to-finish billing processes and procedures.
• Monitor BillBlast/e-billing submissions and rejections.
• Collaborate with billing and collections to resolve e-billing issues.
• Communicate professionally with BFCA personnel and external contacts.
• Process/follow up appeals as needed; review invoices for OCG requirements.
• Enter rates/accruals into different systems and perform problem solving.
• Work independently and in a team setting; perform other duties as assigned.
