Job summary

System One is seeking a Drywall - Construction Project Manager to lead commercial framing and drywall crews on multi-phase projects. This hybrid role blends onsite coordination with remote planning tools, requiring strong scheduling, budgeting, and oversight across GC, developers, and subcontractors.

You will manage schedules, submittals, RFIs, and progress billings, run weekly meetings, ensure safety compliance, and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing commercial framing and drywall projects.
• Experience managing multiple jobs simultaneously (interior build-outs, TI, large-scale commercial).
• Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings.
• Proficient with project management tools and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial metal stud framing and drywall projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Coordinate with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Monitor field progress and proactively address delays or issues.
• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress billings.
• Lead weekly project meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Assist with manpower planning, logistics, and procurement.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with field and office teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with GCs, developers, and subcontractors
