Job summary

AECOM is looking for Drainage Engineers and Designers at all experience levels for projects across the southern US. The position is hybrid, requiring collaboration with clients on major transportation initiatives.

Ideal candidates should have a BS in Engineering or equivalent experience, with skills in drainage design and CAD tools. You will work on significant alternative delivery projects that shape transportation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Candidates should hold a relevant BS degree or equivalent.
• Junior Level Engineers require a BS in Engineering and 2 years related experience.
• Mid-Level Engineers must have a BS in Engineering and 6 years related experience.
• Senior Level Engineers require a BS in Engineering and 10 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on drainage design for various transportation projects.
• Collaborate with clients on alternative delivery mechanisms.
• Manage and oversee CAD design tasks for drainage projects.

Skills

Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects

Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads

Technical expertise in highway drainage design

Education

Summary

We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Key roles include:

• Junior level, mid-level and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

Desired skillsets include:

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design including, but not limited to: Storm Drain Design, Cross Culvert Analysis and Design, Hydrology, Ditch Design, Bridge Deck Drainage, Temporary Drainage, Stormwater Quantity Control

Qualifications

CAD Designers:

• BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Junior Level Engineers:

• BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Mid-Level Engineers:

• BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads:

• BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• EIT Certification or PE License
• State DOT experience

Additional Information
