Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking Drainage Engineers and Designers at all levels for projects throughout the Southeast US. This is a unique opportunity to engage in significant design/build projects involving drainage systems and infrastructure improvements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in highway drainage design and familiarity with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads. AECOM offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering + 2 years of experience for Junior Level Engineers.
• BS in Engineering + 6 years of experience for Mid-Level Engineers.
• BS in Engineering + 10 years of experience for Senior Level Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work on alternative delivery projects and mega-projects in drainage engineering.
• Design various drainage systems to ensure effective water management.

We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Key Roles

• Junior level, mid-level and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

Desired Skillsets

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design including, but not limited to: Storm Drain Design, Cross Culvert Analysis and Design, Hydrology, Ditch Design, Bridge Deck Drainage, Temporary Drainage, Stormwater Quantity Control

Minimum Requirements

CAD Designers:

• BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Junior Level Engineers:

• BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Mid-Level Engineers:

• BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads:

• BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT Certification or PE License
• State DOT experience

• These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
