Job summary

AECOM is searching for Drainage Engineers and Designers at various levels to work on alternative delivery projects across the southern US. Positions are expected to be hybrid, with the primary location in Atlanta, GA.

The ideal candidates will have significant experience in highway drainage design and related projects, along with educational qualifications in engineering. We offer a range of benefits including medical, dental, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• CAD Designers require a BS Degree or equivalent education.
• Junior Engineers need a BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience.
• Mid-Level Engineers must have a BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience.
• Senior Engineers require a BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on alternative delivery projects.

Job Description

AECOM’s Southeast Transportation business line partners with clients to build, modernize and expand transportation projects. We seek Drainage Engineers and Designers of all experience levels to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Summary

We are searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers throughout the southern US.

Key Roles

• Junior level, mid-level and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

Desired Skillsets

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design including storm drain design, cross culvert analysis and design, hydrology, ditch design, bridge deck drainage, temporary drainage, stormwater quantity control

Qualifications

• CAD Designers: BS Degree or equivalent education/experience
• Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years related experience or equivalent
• Mid‑Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years related experience or equivalent
• Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years related experience or equivalent
• Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License, State DOT experience
