Job summary

AECOM is seeking Drainage Engineers and Designers of all experience levels throughout the southern US. This role will work on innovative alternative delivery projects within the Southeast Transportation business line.

Candidates will collaborate with clients on transportation initiatives and must possess a relevant engineering degree. Experience with large design and build projects is essential, and a hybrid work model is expected for this position.

Qualifications

• CAD Designers require a BS Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Junior Level Engineers must have a BS in Engineering + 2 years related experience.
• Mid-Level Engineers need a BS in Engineering + 6 years related experience.
• Senior Level Engineers must have a BS in Engineering + 10 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on alternative delivery projects including mega-projects.
• Partner with clients to build and modernize transportation projects.

Job Description

AECOM’s Southeast Transportation business line partners with clients to build, modernize and expand transportation projects. We seek Drainage Engineers and Designers of all experience levels to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Summary

We are searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers throughout the southern US.

Key Roles

• Junior level, mid-level and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

Desired Skillsets

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design including storm drain design, cross culvert analysis and design, hydrology, ditch design, bridge deck drainage, temporary drainage, stormwater quantity control

Qualifications

• CAD Designers: BS Degree or equivalent education/experience
• Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years related experience or equivalent
• Mid‑Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years related experience or equivalent
• Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years related experience or equivalent
• Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License, State DOT experience
