Dover Precision Components in Rosenberg, TX is hiring a Document Control Specialist to manage production and quality documentation lifecycle at FW Murphy product line. The role involves maintaining document control databases, releasing documents via Agile/ETQ, and supporting audits.

This position supports engineering, operations, and quality teams; a degree and 2+ years in documentation or quality management are expected, with hybrid work up to 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in administration, documentation, and/or quality system management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate complex results and recommendations in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with speed and accuracy.
• Investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel; strong typing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of EDMS such as ETQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the document control database and revision level status.
• Support workflow and release of documents through Agile and/or ETQ.
• Maintain the Quality Management System for electronic distribution of approved documents through Agile PLM.
• Ensure proper handling of quality documents (policies, procedures, templates, records).
• Assist with internal and external audits as required by document control procedures.
• Implement and oversee document control procedures to keep records up-to-date and accessible.
• Manage document control systems or databases, ensuring security and usability.
• Support release and upload of 8D and PFMA documents in Agile.
• Verify documentation adheres to standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Train staff in document control procedures and tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management and other departments to manage documents.
