Job summary

Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) seeks a Distribution Power Engineer to design overhead and underground distribution systems for various clients. You will develop construction-ready deliverables, coordinate with utility stakeholders, and ensure compliance with NESC and standards. 

The role emphasizes multi-project management, strong technical skills, and a customer-focused approach in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/EE or related field.
• Experience in electric utility distribution engineering.
• Knowledge of NESC and utility standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop overhead and underground distribution designs.
• Design new customer service connections and system extensions.
• Review load requirements and size facilities.
• Coordinate with utility clients, developers, and internal teams.
• Prepare design packages, drawings, estimates, and documentation.
