Job summary

Leidos is seeking Distribution Engineers & Designers in Seattle, WA who will design electrical utility systems, develop work packages, and manage scopes for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready projects. You will work with GIS and WMS tools like ArcGIS, EFD, AUD, Smallworld, and Maximo, coordinating with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes in a hybrid office/field environment.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience is required.
• Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers and develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work and coordinate with internal teams and clients.
• Be comfortable with field and office work, including potential local/regional client site visits for data gathering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality client design deliverables.
