Job summary

Salary.com is seeking a Director of Professional Services (HCM Solutions) in Waltham, MA. You will lead a hands-on team delivering compensation solutions, driving adoption, and ensuring value realization for new and existing clients.

You’ll oversee project management, operational oversight, and Microsoft Excel proficiency while coaching colleagues to deliver high-quality service at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct experience implementing HCM, HRIS, compensation, or payroll software.
• 3+ years people leadership with talent development and performance management.
• Experience building and executing a delivery methodology.
• Technical fluency with data integrations (HRIS connectors, APIs, file feeds).
• Strong executive presence and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Clear, direct communication and poise under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Professional Services team delivering implementations.
• Own HCM implementations from kickoff through go-live and handoff to Customer Success.
• Set standards for requirements gathering, configuration, and training.
• Create scalable delivery methods and reusable templates.
• Build client relationships to drive adoption and value realization.
• Represent Salary.com in key customer conversations and escalations.
• Partner with Product Management to shape future features.
• Define and report on delivery metrics such as time-to-implementation and CSAT.
