Job summary

Salary.com is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to implement our compensation software for new customers and support existing users. The role focuses on delivering compensation-related solutions, requiring attention to detail, PM skills, and strong Excel data handling.

Based at our Waltham, MA headquarters, the role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a base salary in the $75,000–$80,000 range plus a 10% bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a customer-facing consultative role with an HCM product.
• Strong knowledge of HCM systems and processes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Client-focused and consultative/advisory mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and onboarding; configure the software to fit client workflows and facilitate UAT.
• Requirements gathering; conduct discovery to document client needs and goals.
• Solution design; translate business needs into technical configurations with product teams.
• Training and enablement; teach users and admins how to use the system and drive adoption.
• Project management; own timelines, milestones and deliverables for engagements.
• Troubleshooting; diagnose and resolve configuration or technical issues.
• Build rapport and manage post-implementation relationships; provide ongoing service and support.
• Develop standard processes to scale recurring initiatives.
