Job summary

Immigrant Family Services Institute (IFSI) seeks a Director of Workforce Development to lead a holistic workforce strategy across ESOL, nurse aide, home health aide, and early childhood programs in Greater Boston.

You will build employer partnerships, develop career pathways, and implement data-driven systems to expand training-to-jobs pipelines while overseeing instructors and staff across multiple sites in Mattapan and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workforce development or adult education programs with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to supervise teams across multiple sites and provide coaching.
• Strong data-driven approach to program design and evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to immigrant-focused workforce development and equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for IFSI's workforce development programs and create a roadmap with senior leadership.
• Develop career pathways in healthcare and early childhood education and build employer partnerships.
• Monitor enrollment and outcomes; adapt formats and delivery models as needed.
• Oversee staff and instructors, provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
• Strengthen program administration, data reporting, and funder communications.
