Job summary

Fenwick & West LLP seeks a Director of Financial Systems to lead the firm’s ERP strategy around Aderant Expert, oversee data integrations, reporting, and system security. The role combines hands-on SQL and programming with strong people management to guide technical approach and ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of financial systems in a law firm, 10+ years leading teams, and deep knowledge of Microsoft stack and legal financial applications.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of financial systems experience in a law firm.
• 10+ years managing and developing technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Aderant and legal financial applications.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Financial Systems staff and contractors.
• Develop and own the firm’s financial systems strategy and roadmap (Aderant and integrations).
• Oversee data integrations, reporting tools, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Ensure security, governance, and reliability of core financial systems.
