Job summary

The Association in Durham, NC seeks a Director - Employee Benefit Plan Auditing and Accounting to lead the EBPAQC and the EBP Expert Panel, representing the Association with regulators and standard setters on EBP matters. This role reports to the Vice President – Financial Reporting & Audit Quality and blends strategy with hands-on leadership in a hybrid Durham, NC office.

You will develop and implement plans to serve members and engaged professionals, oversee content development for EBP topics,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public accounting or comparable experience.
• Experience with employee benefit plan accounting and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Direct the EBPAQC and the AICPA EBP Expert Panel; represent externally on EBP auditing and standard setting.
• Develop strategy to serve EBP Audit Quality Center members, Association members and professionals.
• Oversee content strategy and translate complex material for ease of understanding; resolve impediments to execution.
• Lead team development, budgeting, and performance measurement with an autonomous, market-focused approach.
