Job summary

The Association in Durham, NC seeks a senior subject matter expert on employee benefit plan auditing and accounting to lead the EBPAQC and EBP Expert Panel while engaging regulators and standard-setters. You will develop and implement a strategy to serve members and professionals, manage the team, budget, and performance goals, and collaborate across Association teams to deliver clear, compliant guidance.

Qualifications

• 10 years in public accounting or comparable experience.
• Experience with employee benefit plan accounting and auditing.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities

• Direct the EBPAQC and the AICPA EBP Expert Panel. Represent externally on EBP auditing and accounting standard setting and regulations.
• Develop a strategy aligned with organizational priorities to serve EBP members and professionals and oversee execution.
• Implement strategy and oversee EBP content strategy, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure goals are met.
• Manage your team with a focus on professional development, Agile mindset, and excellence.
