Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Director I Cybersecurity - Threat Intelligence & Engineering to lead threat intelligence, detection engineering, threat hunting and phishing resiliency. The role drives risk reduction through enhanced detection, faster response, and validated controls within a hybrid work model.

You will build and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, advise executives on threat landscape and prioritization, and collaborate across privacy, legal, and intelligence-sharing partners to mature

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and minimum 7 years IT management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat intelligence, detection engineering, threat hunting and phishing resiliency functions.
• Translate external threat landscape and internal telemetry into measurable risk reduction.
• Scale and mentor a multi-disciplinary intel team to improve detection coverage and response.
• Partner with privacy, legal, law enforcement and intel-sharing organizations.
• Establish operating model for Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering with AI & Automation.
• Communicate threats and trends clearly to executives and stakeholders.
