Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Cloud & AI Security Architect to advance cyber defense capabilities across our enterprise cloud environments. You will partner with Cloud Infrastructure, Application Engineering, Detection Engineering, and Security Operations to deploy and continually improve security telemetry, logging, and response across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

In this role, you will define the future cloud security roadmap, develop threat monitoring use cases, and train SOC analysts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and 10+ years in systems administration and security
• Experience implementing cloud security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SIEM/EDR tooling
• Certifications like CCSP or CSP-specific security certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud cyber defense roadmap, threat detection, and incident response integration
• Collaborate with Cloud Infra, App Eng, and Security Ops to ensure logging and telemetry are enabled
• Coach SOC analysts and develop cloud threat monitoring use cases
• Evaluate vendors and onboard tech that meets FedRAMP or regulatory requirements
• Support governance reviews for new cloud services and AI-enabled platforms
