Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Project Management professional to lead elements of the full project lifecycle in a hybrid environment at a major facility. You will establish and manage the Integrated Master Schedule, drive risk mitigation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

The role requires expertise in project controls, budgeting, and executive-level communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident (Green Card).
• Willing to travel 25% of the time.
• 3+ years’ experience managing digital technology projects with infrastructure and software development scope.
• Experience building Integrated Master Schedules in MS Project.
• Experience managing project financials and forecasting resource demand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time project execution and meet deliverables through clear communication and collaboration with matrixed teams and subcontractors.
• Communicate project vision with leadership to align plan, scope, and customer expectations.
• Govern project using the REPM operating model including budgeting and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain key project metrics, milestones, and critical path tracking.
• Monitor and control budgets; perform ECC and variance analysis in line with CAPEX reporting.
• Resolve conflicts and motivate teams toward common goals.
• Establish Risk & Opportunity registers and mitigation plans.
• Make timely decisions supporting Collins Aerospace objectives.
• Summarize key information for senior leadership to enable quick decisions.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement using RTX CORE methodologies.
