Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, PR is hiring a Software Engineer, DevSecOps Engineering I to support data ingestion pipelines, automation workflows, and CI/CD processes. You will assist in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and help modernize legacy workflows while ensuring secure data handling throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

This hybrid role requires Puerto Rico residency at start. You will develop Python/Bash scripts, maintain IaC practices, and work under senior engineers to build

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree or equivalent.
Professional English communication (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

Support development of CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Research and evaluate DevSecOps tools for automation, containerization, and software delivery improvement.
Integrate scripts, small applications, and tools into existing pipelines to enhance flow.
Develop basic scripts (Python, Bash) to assist in integration, automation, and software update processes.
Contribute to frameworks that automate testing, environment provisioning, and software delivery.
