Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a DevOps & Tooling Manager to lead the design, migration, and operation of automation, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering infrastructure. The role focuses on migrating tools to Puerto Rico, building a high-performing team, and aligning tooling with global engineering goals.

The position is hybrid, requiring about two days per week in an HPE office, with relocation support and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE and tooling engineering with 3+ years in management.
• Experience managing large-scale release engineering and migrations.
• Strong Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Migration leadership for engineering tools and CI/CD pipelines into Puerto Rico.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Own the developer tooling and infrastructure roadmap.
• Ensure reliability, on-call management, and blameless postmortems.
• Contribute hands-on to technical setup and problem solving.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and artifact management.
