Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Solutions team. You will drive uniform deployment practices, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and integrate security tooling to ensure secure deployments. Hybrid work model with in-office presence four days per week in Milwaukee, WI.

You will collaborate with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams to streamline from commit to production, focusing on speed, reliability, and compliance across AWS deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Release, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code principles (Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment strategies (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with security tooling and best practices for secure deployments.
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Establish and enforce uniform deployment practices and standards.
• Optimize build and deployment processes for speed, reliability, and repeatability.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, or CDK for AWS.
• Integrate pipelines with security tools for vulnerability scanning and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with Security, Operations and Compliance teams.
• Implement and maintain monitoring/observability solutions for build and deployment health.
• Work with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams for seamless deployments.
