Job summary

Allspring Global Investments Holdings, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer for its Cloud Solutions team in Milwaukee. The role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, standardizing deployment practices, and integrating security tooling to ensure secure, fast software delivery.

The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence four days a week, and involves collaborating with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams to streamline software from commit to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Release, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code principles (Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment strategies (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with security tooling and best practices for secure deployments.
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Establish and enforce uniform deployment practices across teams
• Optimize build and deployment processes for speed and reliability
• Manage and evolve infrastructure as code for AWS deployments
• Integrate pipelines with security tooling for vulnerability scanning and compliance
• Collaborate with Security, Operations and Compliance teams
• Implement and maintain monitoring/observability for build and deployment health
• Work closely with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams
