Job summary

Verisk is seeking a Development Operations Engineer to drive cloud adoption and CI/CD excellence. You will implement automated deployments, mold infrastructure as code, and help design scalable architectures in a hybrid Lehi environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, supporting incidents, and partnering with multiple business units to prototype new ideas and optimize cloud solutions for cost and performance.

Qualifications

Experience building large-scale enterprise architectures with security and HA in mind.
Solid cloud experience (AWS) and cloud architecture knowledge.
Familiar with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk).
Proficient with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and Python development.
Knowledge of IaC with CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform and CI/CD tooling.
Experience with Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins and agile processes.

Responsibilities

Deploy applications via automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for scalable systems.
Design highly available, cost-efficient cloud architectures.
Monitor, alert, and support production environments.
Provide off-hour support for mission-critical apps after root cause analysis.
Collaborate with business units to prototype new ideas and tech.
