Job summary

The National Kidney Foundation seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising and relationship-building across corporate and individual sectors in the ALG market. You will steward relationships, drive revenue through events and campaigns, and collaborate with a team to meet ambitious targets.

You’ll develop strategies, manage portfolios, and work to grow revenue across multiple channels while upholding NKF values and compliance. Hybrid work in Pittsburgh supports flexibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 3–4 years in nonprofit fundraising, events or sales preferred.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and nonprofit leadership.
• Proven record in account management and building corporate partnerships.
• Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts.
• Outcome-driven with adaptability to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with standard office software and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planning, execution, budgeting, and evaluation of events (Pittsburgh Walk, Golf Classic, gala).
• Manage a fundraising portfolio for NKF activities and donors.
• Create and implement fundraising strategies to increase revenue.
• Collaborate with team to meet market and regional financial goals.
• Develop and steward donor relationships for sponsorships, campaigns, and events.
• Develop revenue projections and provide financial analysis.
• Oversee stewardship activities and donor communications.
• Coordinate with community volunteers for local leadership and partnerships.
• Drive donor partnerships to support events and initiatives, ensure data hygiene.
