Job summary

Irish Arts Center in New York, NY invites a Research and Membership Intern to support fundraising activities, including research and prospecting, individual giving and membership, and support with special events and development operations. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, and excited about learning in a fast-paced development office.

The internship pays $17.00 per hour for a 20 hour per week commitment, running for about 3 months from early October to early January, with a hybrid

Qualifications

• Prior administrative work experience, preferably in a development or non‑profit context.
• Strong command of Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn Tessitura and donor management processes.
• Interest in arts/culture and non‑profit field.
• Detail oriented with strong writing and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and prospecting to build donor profiles and briefs for frontline fundraisers.
• Create reports for wealth screenings, team portfolios, and discovery pipelines.
• Support membership by planning events, newsletters, and perk fulfillment.
• Assist with day/night event logistics and fundraising communications.
