Aleron Group, a global workforce and business solutions company, seeks a Technical Support Analyst II in Buffalo, NY to provide hardware and software support for a wide range of technology challenges. You will work with internal staff and external customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth IT operations.

This hybrid role covers desktop and remote support, installations, workstation deployment, virus and backup monitoring, and travel to remote offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4 years of technical support experience.
• 3 years of experience in a help desk and IT environment.
• 1 year of experience in computer project management, backup systems, and configurations.
• Proficiency in Windows, Office 365, TCP/IP, third-party apps, telecom and connectivity, and hardware/printers.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Desktop support - desk side and remote phone support.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level help desk support for end users and application support.
• Assist with installations and workstation deployment.
• Updates all workstations connected to the network.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues; rebuild workstations.
• Monitor for viruses and perform OS/network updates.
• Monitor and support backups and data restores.
• Support multiple company branches; travel to remote offices as needed.
• Document issues in problem-tracking database and escalate incidents as needed.
• Use remote access tools to diagnose users' PCs.
