Kier Design is seeking a Design Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations with hybrid working options. The role involves supporting complex construction engineering services, tender development, and value engineering while delivering buildable, safe solutions.

You will work with talented teams to provide technical assessments, design checks, and centre-of-engineering-excellence guidance, enabling career development within exciting projects.

Qualifications

• Working towards or have completed IEng Initial Professional Development with a relevant professional institution.
• Holding a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification with demonstrable experience.
• Driving licence and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to temporary works design and checking integrated with permanent works.
• Support tender and bid activities including outline design schemes and feasibility studies.
• Deliver value engineering and alternative solutions to improve competitiveness.
• Conduct technical assessments and reviews of third party designs for compliance.
• Provide technical expertise as a centre of engineering excellence.
