Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience leading statewide, regional, or multi-site training operations.
• Experience developing SOPs, manuals, standards, guidance documents, templates and other operational tools.
• Demonstrated change-management experience including the ability to gain buy-in and address resistance.
• Project management experience overseeing complex initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve statewide training programs, systems and processes.
• Provide leadership and oversight to the Statewide Coordinators (SWC) cadre with clear roles and accountability.
• Lead the Instructor Certification and Development Division.
• Oversee the Applied Training Facility Division including the Firearms Range, Defensive Tactics Gym and Simulations/VR rooms.
• Design standardized processes and procedures for development and evaluation of instructors.
• Create a framework for managing the instructor cadre: recruitment, onboarding, development, utilization, performance management.
• Lead development of performance management and quality assurance processes for statewide programs and instructors.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into executable training initiatives.
