Job summary

UPMC Health Plan is seeking a Business Solutions Configuration Analyst Associate in the Dental Vision Ancillary department. This full-time hybrid position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, combining remote work with office collaboration for dental and vision product configuration, implementation, and oversight.

The role analyzes business requirements, designs configurations, tests changes, and supports reimbursement models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years general business experience.
• Understanding of XML data structure.
• Basic SQL statement knowledge.
• Act 34 licensure or certification consideration.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, test, audit, and implement new processes on transactional claims for internal clients and TPA business.
• Model business requirements to implement new dental and vision products and system enhancements.
• Identify areas of concern affecting client satisfaction and propose data-driven solutions.
• Validate and test fixes/enhancements to systems, including vendor upgrades.
• Configure new dental and vision plans for internal and external clients.
• Complete audits to ensure configuration conforms to plan design and benefits.
• Participate in reimbursement model design for dental professionals.
• Maintain and update fee schedules across lines of business.
• Develop reporting to support operations, vendor oversight and utilization.
• Provide reimbursement data to process claims and resolve issues.
• Work with partners to define technical solutions and functional designs.
• Create and modify test plans; participate in team meetings and work group sessions.
