Job summary

Liberty Dental Plan seeks a Provider Network Manager to build and maintain strong provider networks, recruiting General Dentists and Specialists while guiding education, training, and strategic relationship-building. You will analyze networks, conduct market and competitor analyses, and ensure alignment with compliance standards.

You will travel up to 50% and engage cross-functionally to resolve provider concerns, lead negotiations, and deliver monthly reports on recruitment progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or combination with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 4 years in network management, dental office management, managed healthcare or related sales.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare and/or DHMO networks is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit General Dentists and Specialists to meet network adequacy and corporate objectives.
• Analyze provider networks to identify recruitment needs based on access standards and cost effectiveness.
• Develop strategic recruitment plans for assigned markets after competitor analysis.
• Negotiate fee schedules and contract terms aligned with company goals.
• Support network providers with claims issues, grievances, and contract guidance.
• Conduct on-site provider orientations and structural audits as needed.
• Process provider contracts with complete documentation.
• Maintain long-term relationships with providers.
• Deliver monthly activity reports on recruitment and retention progress.
• Educate providers on Liberty policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalated provider concerns.
