Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to join our Atlanta HQ. You will own the Americas demand model, produce a rolling 24-month outlook and refine forecasts with market intelligence and promotions data.

The role requires collaboration with capacity planning and senior leadership to improve forecast accuracy and align master schedules with purchasing programs. You will drive KPI targets, support budgeting processes, and present actionable insights to the S&OP

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years direct experience in a demand planning role within a manufacturing environment, packaging industry preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify forecast variances, perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Proficiency with forecasting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel for demand analysis and reporting.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to present complex demand, forecast, and business performance data to senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct forecasting and ownership of the Americas Demand Planning model with a rolling 24-month outlook.
• Update customer demand requirements at the die level and improve S&OP forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to understand constrained plants/assets and focus variance efforts.
• Incorporate market intelligence and develop statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.
• Present root causes of variances and drive improvement opportunities monthly (MAPE).
• Define KPIs and participate in budgets aligning demand plans with master schedules and purchasing.
• Develop monthly S&OP leadership package highlighting key drivers and risks.
• Connect demand metrics to EBITDA, inventory and OTIF and support leadership decisions.
