Job summary

Safilo-US in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Demand Planner to drive demand visibility and align commercial plans with supply chain capabilities. You will develop and maintain forecasts, partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning, and support product launches to maximize availability.

The role focuses on forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and continuous improvement in planning processes within a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work options may be considered for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory, or data analysis; internships welcome.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; macros or advanced tools a plus.
• Basic understanding of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining a rolling 12‑month demand forecast using historical data, orders, market trends, and inputs.
• Update monthly forecasts to reflect promotions, new products, and life-cycle changes.
• Analyze forecast performance; identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting forecast accuracy, inventory, or service levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Category Management, and Supply Planning to incorporate inputs into the plan.
• Support new product forecasting through analysis of launch assumptions and early sales performance.
