Job summary

Carlyle Group seeks a Payment Operations Staff Accountant to support the Americas by entering deal invoices, critical fundings, and tax payments.

You will monitor inquiries in the Service Now portal, prioritize and resolve issues, and ensure timely approvals to avoid aging and backlogs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, banking, or payments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to internal and external partners.
• Monitor ServiceNow inquiries, prioritize, resolve, and escalate issues as needed.
• Process deal invoices, fundings (e.g. USRE), and tax payments with accuracy.
• Submit tax filings and ensure timely approvals to avoid aging and backlogs.
• Assist with vendor wire instructions and deal-related pay cycles.
