Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Systems Analyst – Data (Insurance Claims) in Detroit/Troy area to design, build and maintain data solutions for underwriting, operations, and analytics. You will work with engineers to develop data pipelines, integrate systems, and ensure high-quality data for business decisions.

The role involves mentoring, cloud-oriented data practices, and collaboration with product teams, stakeholders, and software engineers, with a hybrid schedule and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in software development and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and stakeholders in understanding data requirements and data integrations.
• Develop familiarity with insurance data, processes, and systems through project work and mentoring.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Support the development, testing and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes and data integrations.
• Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and identifying root causes of data discrepancies.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring activities to ensure high quality data.
