Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC – A&H Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead future‑state design and specification across Medical Stop Loss, Organ Transplant, and MedPlus operations. You will partner with business and tech teams to translate requirements into developer‑ready Epics, features, user stories, and data needs.

The role emphasizes process discovery, agile delivery, and data modeling for NoSQL solutions using Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Insurance, CS, IS, Data Management or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
4+ years of progressive experience in technical business analysis, process architecture, or requirements engineering for modernization
Experience translating complex processes into future‑state workflows and developer‑ready specifications
Experience in Agile environments and Jira epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, traceability
Experience defining data requirements and contributing to conceptual/logical data models

Responsibilities

Facilitate discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders to understand goals, needs, risks, data needs and requirements
Document current processes only to the level needed to understand purpose, risks, dependencies, and requirements
Design end‑to‑end future‑state process maps for multiple lines of business including CRM Hub, underwriting, policy administration, premium, eligibility, and claims
Research and recommend modern insurance practices, automation opportunities, workflow improvements, and user experience enhancements
Translate future‑state processes into clear functional/technical specs including epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and interfaces
Develop conceptual/logical data models and domain definitions; define data ownership and quality rules
Collaborate with Azure and Fabric data flows, integrations, analytics requirements, and source‑to‑target mappings
Define measurable acceptance criteria and support test strategy, scenarios, UAT, and validation
