Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Systems Analyst – Data (Insurance Claims) to design, build, and maintain data solutions powering underwriting, operations, reporting, and analytics. You will work with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to implement scalable data solutions in a hybrid schedule near Troy, MI.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of software development and data experience, knowledge of ETL concepts, APIs, and data integrations, and a willingness to grow in a cloud-enabled

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in software development and support.
• Understanding of data modeling and data quality principles is a plus.
• Exposure to API’s and data integrations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and stakeholders in understanding data requirements and supporting data integrations.
• Develop familiarity with insurance data, business processes, and systems through project work and mentoring.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Support development, testing and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes and data integrations.
• Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and identifying root causes of data discrepancies.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring activities to ensure high quality data.
