Job summary

DRW is seeking a Data Analyst, Stewardship to support onboarding, management, and maintenance of datasets used by traders and researchers. You will work with technology, front office, operations, research, and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on production support for EOD and reference data, diagnosing issues, and partnering with engineering to create sustainable fixes. Location is hybrid with Chicago or Houston options, and non-traditional hours apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Python with troubleshooting data issues and writing ad-hoc scripts.
• Experience building data governance rules and runbooks for issue resolution.
• Familiarity with financial instruments and markets, including futures, options, and crypto across global exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production of EOD valuation data and reference data used for PnL, including coverage during evening hours.
• Respond to global requests via Slack and email to create, update, and troubleshoot data.
• Investigate data behavior, tracing issues through source systems, feeds, and business logic.
• Diagnose data problems quickly and build ad-hoc tooling to resolve issues.
• Work across reference data and valuation data stores and related tooling.
• Escalate and collaborate with engineering and Data Management teams on systemic issues.
