Job summary

DRW is a diversified trading firm seeking a Data Analyst, Stewardship to support onboarding and maintenance of datasets used by traders and researchers. The role focuses on ensuring data used for PnL and valuations is accurate, with collaboration across technology, front office, operations, and risk management.

The position is hybrid, based in Chicago or Houston with possible remote options for the right candidate, and requires working non-traditional hours to bridge global windows.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data troubleshooting and scripting.
• Experience building data governance rules and runbooks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with global technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support EOD valuation data and reference data for PnL production.
• Respond to global requests via Slack and email to manage reference data.
• Investigate data issues by tracing through source systems and business logic.
• Build ad-hoc scripts or tooling to resolve data problems quickly.
• Collaborate with engineering and Data Management on systemic issues.
• Escalate issues and coordinate cross-team resolutions.
