Job summary

DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks a Data Analyst to support EOD valuation and reference data used for PnL, collaborating with traders, researchers, and tech teams. You will troubleshoot data issues, write ad-hoc scripts, and help scale fixes with engineering.

Hybrid schedule with potential remote options; offices in Chicago or Houston. Requires strong SQL/Python and experience with financial data and data governance.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills for data troubleshooting and ad-hoc scripting.
• Experience building data quality metrics and quick fixes in scheduling environments.
• Familiarity with financial instruments data and markets, including futures, options, and crypto.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the production of EOD valuation data and reference data used for PnL.
• Respond to global requests via Slack and email to manage reference data.
• Investigate data behavior by tracing sources, feeds, and business logic.
• Diagnose data problems quickly and build ad-hoc tooling to resolve them.
• Collaborate with engineering and other Data Management teams on systemic issues.
