Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks a Data Analyst, Stewardship to support onboarding, managing, and maintaining datasets used by traders and researchers. You will handle production support for EOD valuation and reference data, troubleshoot issues, and partner with engineering to implement recurring fixes.

Hybrid schedule with Chicago or Houston offices; remote may be possible for the right candidate. Non-traditional hours: 10:30am–7:30pm Central.

Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL and Python with experience troubleshooting data issues.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL, Python libraries, Bloomberg tools and data stores.
Understanding of financial instruments and markets across asset classes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and support production of EOD valuation data and reference data for PnL.
Respond to global requests via Slack and email to manage reference data.
Investigate data issues and trace through source systems, feeds, and business logic.
Diagnose data problems quickly and build ad-hoc scripts or tooling.
Collaborate with engineering and Data Management to resolve systemic issues.
