Best Buy in Richfield, Minnesota seeks a Data Scientist to apply statistical and machine learning methods to real-world business problems, delivering data-driven insights across Marketing and Customer domains.

The role is hybrid: on-site Monday through Thursday at the Richfield campus, with Friday work from home. You’ll translate complex models for broad audiences, partner with Marketing and Customer teams to implement solutions, and help scale analytics across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field.
• 2+ years in data science, data analysis, or similar.
• 2+ years of Python or R and SQL experience.
• 2+ years implementing ML models.
• Experience presenting complex technical information to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical and ML methods to solve business problems.
• Dig deep into complex data to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to Best Buy’s data science capabilities.
• Mine large structured and unstructured data for insights.
