Job summary

Ford is seeking a data scientist to own product analytics for its AI Digital Assistant. You will analyze user utterances with NLP, evaluate AI responses, and build dashboards in Looker and PowerBI to empower product teams.

You will join the Digital Cabin to drive data strategy and cross-functional collaboration across mobile and IVI platforms. The role requires 7+ years in data science or applied ML, a strong SQL/GCP background, and a passion for turning raw telemetry into actionable business

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Statistics).
• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or Applied ML.
• Ability to bridge DS, Eng, and Product to turn raw telemetry into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Leverage NLP and ML to categorize and cluster user utterances and analyze sentiment in logs.
• Design methods to evaluate AI responses and run A/B tests for prompts and features.
• Integrate mobile, support, and vehicle data in GCP while enforcing data privacy and PII handling.
• Define core conversational metrics with Product Managers and drive data-driven decisions.
• Build scalable Looker and PowerBI dashboards for the product team to self-serve insights.
• Bridge data between Ford app and IVI data contracts as the product expands.
