City of Atlanta is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to plan, collect and analyze data across departmental functions. You will design reports, review data quality, and summarize results for leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of data reporting experience and proficiency in SQL, Access, and Excel. The position follows a hybrid work schedule with in-person work at city facilities and remote days as approved.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration, accounting, finance, information technology, statistics, human resources, or a related field; eight years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel are required skills.
• Experience in data creation, reporting, and management of data or related tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Receives assignments and plans for data collection and analysis for assigned departmental functions or activities.
• Designs custom reports and data displays for projects and standard report formats for ongoing functions based on organizational needs for information.
• Reviews data quality and identifies processes or reporting functions needing improvement.
• Writes queries in the appropriate reporting language and summarizes data for reports.
• Presents periodic reports or special projects to management.
