Job summary

Access Data is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join a fast-paced finance team supporting planning, forecasting, and performance tracking for our financial client in Atlanta. This role involves delivering actionable insights, building reporting infrastructure for tech-driven programs, and collaborating across business units to drive business outcomes.

The position is a 12-month W2 contract, hybrid (3 days in office, onsite training for 1–2 months) with office in Buckhead, Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• 3+ years in financial analysis, accounting, or consulting.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial drivers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and forecast corporate planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Assist with annual and long-range financial planning.
• Partner with business units, operating segments, and functional teams.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and metrics.
• Perform variance analysis monthly and potentially weekly.
• Identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Support monthly close and financial reporting processes.
• Build and maintain reporting infrastructure for tech initiatives.
• Track financial actuals across initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and milestone progress with initiative owners.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
• Support automation and enhancements of financial tools and processes.
