Job summary

Citco in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Manager, Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement to own analysis, reporting build and testing. You will gather requirements from Operations, develop outputs, test, and support platform implementations for client setups.

The role hinges on strong Excel skills, data know-how, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in private assets accounting or operations, solid data knowledge, and a bachelor’s in accounting/finance/economics.

Qualifications

• You have 4+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with exposure to reporting or data work.
• Solid technical knowledge of private assets processes and the data they produce.
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining reporting, or a clear appetite to develop in that direction.
• Comfortable working with technology partners and asking the questions needed to get to a root cause.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and evidence a recommendation.
• Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage several pieces of work at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); exposure to reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; working towards a professional accounting designation an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support data, reporting and platform delivery, with hands-on ownership of analysis, reporting build and testing.
• Gather and document data and reporting requirements from Operations teams.
• Build, test and maintain reporting outputs and analysis used to evidence problems and measure benefits.
• Investigate data quality issues and trace them back to source.
• Build and execute test scripts for platform and reporting change, and track defects through to resolution.
• Support platform implementation tasks across fund structures, new client setups and transitions.
• Prepare user guidance and support Operations teams through go-live.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers and status reporting.
