Job summary

Aston Carter in Seattle is seeking a Project/Program Manager I Data Management Specialist to support a large-scale sustainability reporting program. You will manage data collection campaigns, maintain metrics, and ensure data accuracy across complex datasets with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong Excel and database skills, experience with enterprise reporting platforms like Workiva, and the ability to operate with independence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data management, database administration, or data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with high data quality standards.
• Experience with relational databases and enterprise reporting systems.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for analysis and reporting.
• Experience handling 2,000+ data points per report.
• Ability to work under direction while leading workstreams independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort with multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with productivity tools like Asana and other platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and maintain metrics for sustainability and enterprise reporting.
• Plan and execute end-to-end data collection campaigns with stakeholders.
• Manage large, complex datasets ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with controllership to ensure data auditability and controls.
• Monitor data quality and drive timely resolution of gaps and issues.
• Triage data escalations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Own workstreams and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
• Refine reporting processes, workflows, and governance for repeatability.
• Use Excel and databases to reconcile and transform data for reporting.
• Leverage Workiva or similar platforms to support reporting activities.
• Clearly communicate data issues and requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work with finance, sustainability, marketing, and controllership in a global setting.
• Apply ESG frameworks to data management and reporting processes.
• Utilize Asana or similar tools to track tasks and collaboration.
