Job Title:
ESG/Sustainability Data Management Specialist (sustainability reporting program)
Location:
Hybrid – Seattle or Bellevue, WA (One day a week onsite).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Define, configure, and maintain metrics within internal reporting systems.
- Drive end-to-end data collection campaigns across cross-functional teams.
- Track data submissions, reporting deadlines, and workstream progress.
- Manage escalations related to data gaps, discrepancies, and non-responsive stakeholders.
- Partner closely with controllership teams to support data validation, audit trails, and controls.
- Maintain and enhance database structures while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Prepare, reconcile, and perform quality checks on reporting data.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and data dictionaries.
- Identify data quality issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Communicate data requests, issues, status updates, and timelines to stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data management, database administration, data analysis, or related areas.
- Experience with Workiva or a similar enterprise reporting platform.
- Strong database management experience handling large volumes of data.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with ESG, sustainability, financial reporting, or related data.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and data requirements.
- Strong data quality, validation, reconciliation, and documentation experience.
- Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Asana.
- Experience in controllership, internal audit, or audit-adjacent data management.
- Experience with sustainability reporting or corporate responsibility programs.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or master data management frameworks.
- Experience working in a large, global enterprise environment.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, Sustainability, or a related field.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $42.00 - $46.50 Hourly on W2.
