Citi is seeking a Data Governance Analyst in Jacksonville, FL to shape data governance, risk, and control frameworks. You will partner with business and technology teams to implement governance policies, perform data quality validation, and produce recurring metric extracts that inform enterprise decisions.

The role combines hands-on data analysis with governance expertise to influence data policies and measurement across Citi.

Competenze

• 6 to 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, process engineering, or a related field.
• Technical background with strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and extracting data across tools.
• Coding proficiency in Python or SAS.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting requirements while balancing multiple stakeholder needs.
• Clear communication skills to convey complex data concepts to varied audiences.
• Bachelor's degree.

Mansioni

• Investigate data quality rule failures and determine root causes using hands‑on validation queries.
• Write and run SQL queries to validate, extract, and analyze data across multiple systems and tools.
• Partner with business and technology teams to implement Data Governance policies and the Data Risk and Control Framework.
• Produce monthly data extractions to support metrics reporting and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Track data‑related issues, ownership, target dates, and associated metrics for governance reporting.
• Coordinate with business lines and global functions to roll out enterprise Data Governance strategy and risk taxonomy updates.
• Gather and synthesize metrics on existing data governance practices, incorporating industry best practices.
• Recommend enterprise‑wide data policies, processes, and practices based on analysis findings.
