Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data science, computer science, information systems, engineering, life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years experience in data governance within a highly regulated industry.
• Experience with data governance technologies for stewardship, quality, lineage, and access management.
• Experience with cloud technologies to build, optimize, and govern data platforms and analytics environments.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into scalable operational processes and to present technical concepts to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalize data usage policies, access controls, and data stewardship requirements across data inventory assets.
• Design and continuously improve data governance programs, policies, and controls for high-quality, compliant data access.
• Develop automation workflows applying data policies to governed data holdings.
• Collaborate with business teams to embed data usage policies across enterprise data and technology landscape.
• Support governance tooling, audits, and metrics to measure data utilization and governance effectiveness.
• Maintain business glossary, data integration, data lineage, and broader data management activities.
